The PNP through PCRG in partnership with the National Bicycle Organization, Erehwon, Knights of Rizal, and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding a commemorative program through a Fun Bike Ride dubbed as “Commemoration Ride for the SAF 44 Heroes” to honor the gallantry of the 44 SAF commandos who sacrificed their lives during the law enforcement operation in Mamasapano, Maguindanao against the high-value target Zulkifli Bin Har also known as Marwan, an international terrorist.

The activity will be conducted on January 22, 2017 at 4:30 AM starting at Luneta Park, Manila to pass through various stops such as the NCRPO SAF Headquarters, SM Sta. Rosa City, PNP SAF Training School at Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna and to culminate at the SAF 44 Monument, PNP Academy (PNPA) in Silang, Cavite.

The PNP encourages everyone and all bike enthusiasts to join the Commemoration Ride for the SAF 44 Heroes, a Fun Bike Ride on January 22, 2017.

Be one with the PNP in remembering and honoring to the heroism and gallantry of the 44 SAF commandos who sacrificed their lives for us to have a peaceful country.

The Fun Bike Ride is a free biking event wherein participants will be provided with t-shirts and stickers; and

Interested bikers can register through the National Bikers Organization or through the PNP PCRG through their contact number 723-0401 local 3600.

UNTV donated Four Million Pesos to the Philippine National Police to aid the whole-government approach in the War Against Illegal Drugs. Police Director General Ronald "Bato" M Dela Rosa received the donation given by Untv, duly represented by Kuya Daniel Razon.

With them is the command group of Police Community Relations Group headed by Police Chief Superintendent Gilberto DC Cruz (Hero Cop), Police Senior Superintendent Mario N Rariza Jr (Oiram Navarro Rariza Jr.) and Police Senior Superintendent Remigio S Sedanto. The said amount will be used in the rehabilitation efforts of the PNP in line with Oplan Double Barrel.

All Permits to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence (PTCFOR) are hereby suspended for a period of ten (10) days in the Province of Cebu, Madaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, and Cebu City effective January 9 to 18, 2017.
